Every Thursday I volunteer at a Yoga studio over the noon hour. In exchange, I get to practice unlimitedly for free. Best. Deal. Ever. What's more, is that since it's summer, watering the garden has become one of my responsibilities! So not only do I get to practice yoga any time I want without any financial burden, it is in exchange for an activity that is already something I love to do! Literally the only part of this deal that isn't ideal is that it's over the lunch hour so I always get really hungry! So this week I was determined to bring a healthy snack that I could enjoy half way through my shift. And, since it's warm and beautiful out while I garden, I figured something cool and refreshing might be nice. So I settled with a smoothie!

mango + avocado + basil + yogurt = perfect summer snack

1 mango
1/2 avocado
1 1/2 cups yogurt
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey
8 basil leaves
1 tablespoon chia seeds

Simply place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth!
